Introduction
The a P-Air Győr-Pér Repülőtér Fejlesztési Kft. (P-Air Győr-Pér Airport Development Kft.) was established in 1994. The primary aim of the company is to utilise and develope the grass airfield – previously owned by the armed forces and located in the municipality of Pér – into a regional/international airport.
During 2013 our airport reached a significant milestone. The group of owners was joined by AUDI Hungaria Services Zrt. which gave momentum to the infrastructural development of the airport. The extended runway, modernised lighting system and associated development works allows Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 type planes to land. As part of developments an instrument landing system (ILS) was installed in 2014.
